Countdown to the UK’s first ever Organisation Workshop

At LONG last MFO have managed to secure the means needed for the unemployed people of Marsh Farm and surrounding areas to pilot the UK's first ever Organisation Workshop (OW) project to create our own job whilst, building a better local economy and democracy at the same time.

Having lost out on previous opportunities to pilot the method due to financial mismanagement and corruption of the funding systems by officials at Marsh Farm's Community Development Trust, MFO continued the fight for this right and are pleased to say have now secured the money, support and equipment needed to facilitate the Marsh Farm OW starting in March 2015.

If you are an unemployed Lutonian why not come and see if you want to join in this unique and revolutionary challenge.

All of the tools, equipment and expert support needed to set up new co-operative businesses is provided PLUS up to 9 months of support from the Job Centre in the form of payment of a Training Allowance (for 3 months) and New Enterprise Allowance (for 6 months) while you learn to operate the new businesses. No more signing on and job searching – instead you get a payment equivalent to Job Seekers whilst starting up the new businesses.

In the event we all succeed in Luton the OW opportunity will then be opened up for unemployed people all over the UK to take up, so this will not only be good for you personally, it will help thousands of other people currently being left on the shelf or forced into meaningless work on zero hour contracts etc to try something much more worthwhile.

THERE IS AN OPEN DAY AT FUTURES HOUSE IN MARSH FARM ON FRIDAY 6th FEBRUARY FROM 10am to 11.45

SEE YOU THERE!!!
